Our family is gearing up to take a road trip to our home state of Iowa. We are really looking forward to this visit because it will be so nice to visit friends and family without the hustle and bustle that always surrounds our traditional holiday visits.
We plan to divide our time between David's parents and my own. David will also be taking a further trip to Minneapolis to be a groomsman in a highschool/college friend's wedding.

how was your trip to iowa?! i was just in dsm and i was SO impressed by the small businesses. there is a new artsy district near downtown called "east village" and it is growing w/ shops and all sorts of stuff. fun fun.
it was great! I was able to see several friends, including Lisha! When do you think you'll get back over to that neck of the woods?
