Owen has had such an awesome summer. I am so proud of what a caring/sharing/fun-loving friend that he is to ALL. He asks daily if he can play with someone and even finds ways to have fun with his little brother. He has learned to write his name and we are working our way through the alphabet learning to write all the other letters. Next time you see him, ask him what our address is, because he knows that too! His coloring has improved SO much it amazes me. He's truly emerging as a preschooler, and is enjoying getting a weekly allowance that he swiftly spends and is learning about giving and saving some as well. Owen practices his baseball skills as much as we'll allow and is picking up some the the rules of the game as well.Both David and I are so impressed with how far he's come with his swimming in just one summer. He is just about to complete his second set of lessons for the season. Check out this video....Would you believe that this is the same kid who just a few months ago would not go into the 'big' pool without being firmly attached to one of us and on the first day of lessons he was the only kid that entered the pool literally clinging and screaming??! WAY TO GO, OWEN!!
Last, but not least, here's a music video of Owen singing his current 'favorite song'. We have Daddy to thank for introducing this into his life....they have a tradition of wrestling in the living room re-enacting a match between Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant that David found on YouTube. The attire Owen is sporting is as close as we could get to a Hulk Hogan-Y type costume - Enjoy!
