They Call me the Working Man

This morning my neighbor Richard helped me replace the brake pads and rotors on the Mazda. Since I only had to pay for the parts, I saved over $200 by doing this at home. It's really hard to believe that mechanics get away with charging people so much for this service. Once you know how to do it, it's not terribly difficult. Anyways, I insisted that Heidi take a few pics of this historic event, since I'm typically hopeless when it comes to working with cars.

Here I am trying to remove the caliper from the rotor (or something like that)
I have my tools, Dad. Let me at it!
That's Richard on the right. He's a real handy guy to have around.
Take a break and give me a hug, Daddy!
