Owen had an absolutely fabulous time being a big scary dragon for Halloween this year! He practiced for several weeks the art of blowing fire and tearing around the house saying "Dragon's gonna get you!!!" He was especially excited to wear it outside and go trick-or-treating when learned exactly what trick-or-treating meant.

Here he is with a few of his trick-or-treating buddies at the town square: AnNa the beautiful butterfly and Tenney the Safari Man. After trick-or-treating we visited a few neighbors and then headed to a church sponsored wild wild west festival. Owen had the treat of riding a pony, eating fun food, playing games, and his absolute favorite, the bounce house.
And this year we not only picked out pumpkins, but we carved them. Owen was very interested in the whole process, but as you can see below was less than thrilled at the thought of actually touching the pumpkin goo. TOO FUNNY! I am proud to say that he at least tasted the baked pumpkin seeds we made even if he did spit them out after chewing on them for a while.
He finally decided to get involved when we gave him a spoon to scoop and 'cook' with

The finished product:
We gave Owen the choice of what type of face to put on the pumpkins and he chose scary and sad.
