The finish line for David's PhD path is in sight!
This semesters end marks the completion of required coursework!!
He completed his FINAL final exam!!

Only a few more hurdles remain...Now, studies begin for the comprehensive exam that he will take in late April or early May. He has also settled on a topic for his dissertation and formed a committee to oversee his progress.
David has been busy applying for jobs across the county, so if you think of him please pray! It is our hope that he will be able to secure a teaching position for the fall of 2008 that will allow him to teach in addition to completing his dissertation.
David will continue teaching courses in intro to philosophy at the U of A and JBU this spring.

That's so exciting! Of course we will pray for you. Please feel free to send any thoughts Sam's way as he loves to look at phil. stuff. We graduate next Dec. and Sam is starting to look at applying to schools for ph.d. I'll just be glad to have my degree and be done with school.
