David has a little more time on his hands this week as he finished his dissertation prospectus and classes don't start until next week, so we took an impromptu trip to the Tulsa Zoo on Tuesday! This was our 'summer fun' for this year, about all we could manage but we all enjoyed it!
We didn't tell Owen where we were going until we arrived and he had an absolute blast!
Eli did great the whole day as well, taking in the sights and snoozing in the stroller off and on.
I didn't get to take photos of Owen playing in a little water park near the zoo, but we stopped there for a bit before heading home while I fed Eli. Owen didn't nap at his regular hour, but he was such a good boy all day - no whining or complaining about walking or anything! We were so proud of him, he was so enthusiastic and excited about EVERYTHING we did and saw. Once we got into the car for the ride home late that afternoon it didn't take long before he was snooz'n away.

Looks like a good time was had by all--not like the drive-through Safari Adventure we went on when Owen got spooked by the Emu's about a year ago. :) Nana Donna
