Eli is quite the curious George now that he's mastered the art of creeping. Once in a while he'll push himself up on all fours and rock for a bit, but then he just plops back down on his belly and scoots off somewhere. Pulling up is not much of an interest for him just yet, but if I stand him up next to something to hold onto he'll hang on for a few moments at a time.
Eli is fascinated by opening and closing doors/cabinets, wires, dog food, you name it and he can get himself to it for a thorough investigation. He really gets moving if he sees the front door open up! One thing that we have noticed about Eli is how much he moves his arms/wrists - it's almost as if he's in constant motion if he's not holding something or crawling somewhere. Another quirk we have come to chuckle at is how he makes little noises as he eats, almost like he's saying mmm, mmm, mmm as he chews and picks up little morsels.
It's funny how different he is compared to Owen at this age especially in his reactions to hearing "no". When I told Owen 'no, no' about something he would get so sad/mad. Eli, however, looks at me ever so innocently then dashes me a devilish grin or even boldly giggles! Oh, what does this boy have in store for me?
