10 Months

Eli is 10 months old. He's officially mobile. Army crawling is his preferred mode of transport with the help of pushing from is tiny toes - but let me tell you, he's pretty quick! The most precious milestone is the sweet sound of "Mama" coming out regularly. It's pretty obvious he's calling to me when he says it too because he usually says it when he's scooted himself over to me and is wanting to be picked up. Also, I was away over night for the first time, and David said he was calling it out quite a lot and also seemed to be looking for me. He's so laid back and carefree when left in the care of others - no separation anxiety, yet - so it's nice to know he knows his mama and recognizes when I'm not around.

He now has his 2 front teeth and the bottom ones are working their way through. Mealtime is getting more fun as he's getting more and more proficient with finger foods - he can pretty much sample anything we're eating as long as it's tiny. Eli is such a sweet baby - so content to go along without complaint wherever we go be it to a party, the store, or his multiple trips to the doctor. I'm so thankful for his peaceful, easy-going attitude especially given his fussy entrance to the world. After 6 ear infections he had a consultation with our Ear Nose and Throat doctor who agreed that tubes would be a good route for him. So, following in big brothers footsteps he's scheduled to get tubes placed March 19th.
